About
Our team created an app that gives you rewards for recycling. You will accumulate in-app currency called “points”. Participants collect points by recycling and can convert the points into rewards. The rewards will be credited towards school extracurricular activities, field trips, events, and supplies for teachers.
Origin
Cash4Trash was an idea that was started by nine Innovation High School students who had ideas for improving the environment.
The main goals of this project are to raise awareness about efficient recycling beginning with improving school communities through partnerships with local recycling companies. It was a trail and error beginning process to arrive to the finalized product.
