Mission
Our Mission
As we know, global warming is having a negative effect on the environment and therefore we see it as an important issue to be addressed.
Our mission is to improve the recycling habits of Jersey City residents and to encourage students to recycle in school. The app encourages users to recycle by rewarding them with points that they can spend at a participating store.

Pollution is the #1 negative effect that comes from a lack of recycling.
The overflow of landfills would occur if as a society we did not recycle or recycle efficiently.
Greenhouse gas emission (GHG) increases the heat trapped in the Earth's atmosphere.
Conservation of fossil fuels means having a reusable source of energy.
